Labour of Light is my life’s commitment to sharing the joy and beauty I live, through my art, my writings and my actions. There is a bridge I cross when I am creating that connects my heart to a remembering that I do not always or immediately understand.

When I am away from it too long my heart begins to ache. It is an honour to receive the visions I paint and I am humbled and grateful to have the opportunity to share them.

Labour of Light is a home based home-made business. I paint photograph print cut and assemble all my products. My work is infused with my love and prayers. I hope my finished work honours the vision from which it is born and I hope it touches those that resonate with the stories it is sharing.

ABOUT ARTIST

Sheila LeBlanc-Joyce lives in Clare, Nova Scotia with her husband and their four year old daughter. A little cabin beside a brook with a marsh and river in the back yard, Sheila's home is cozy and inspiring.

This home based business realizes a long held dream. Working from home allows her to create her art, raise her daughter and care for her family - with the sound of the bubbling brook in the background. This Acadian born artist is inspired by the inner and outer beauty of humanity, and the precious Earth who has been so gracious as to care for all of us as we journey through space.
